@keaweather – the models were proven wrong when they forecast rain for Chennai. In fact, they can use it to validate new models – run simulation for chennai, if rain is predicted – rework on the model 😀
At 11 am, current temp is 1.1 C less than yesterday same time. I have a feeling temp will struggle to cross 34.5c. But it all depends on sea breeze, yesterday was very early
Yesterday early onset of sea breeze spoiled has spoiled the development of TS. It has cooled the lower level and that did not allow the moisture to develop near the coast. That is why we had TS near Arani, very interior part.
