Andaman islands: Imd wil declare the monsoon by evening /night….continous heavy widespread rain reportd from 28th….actually s.andaman sea has witnessd the monsoon yestrday,..so most probably ,today it should cover the entire island…

quite a few thunderstorms developed over western outskirts of chennai – roughtly about 60 KMs west. Possibilities to spread towards chenai by evening is likely,
as the present levels of humidity and coupled with sea breeze might get a good shower. only if we get at least evening showers, the temperatures can come down and settle at 95 F which is moderate.

Well in this hot juncture….western TN is doin better with Tirupattur at 35.2….dharmapuri at 34.4c and Coimbatore at 33c!!
Today was extremely hot…i almost died in the heat at 3PM!!! 😡
@shiva.. that happens….i can show u few days in september,october where Vellore’s max temp will be at 36c and Tirupattur/jolarpet max temp at 25c….its a 11 degree fall in 1 and a half hour!!

Even u cna see wid sterday’s max temps…..u will start at chennai at 30m at 41c….arrakonam,walahjapet=tiruttani still remains at 41c…..vellore remains at 41c ..by that time u climb 200m…..then climb anodher 200m,there comes a fall of 6degrees ….tirupattur,jolarpet at 35c…..then climb anoder 500m,there is a drop of anoder 4c …bangalore at 31c…!!!…
