  1. goods condition is prevailing in arabian sea.The disturbance should organise into depressioin in coming days..low shear and good sst…sateelite shows just sporadic t storms in arabian sea but it should organise in coming days.

  2. KN,

I dont know who good u know bangalore. But do you know any good running track in bangalore. I want to run around 15 km and there isnt a nice place in bangalore to run for more than a km. Roads are bad and so are the platforms. Is the lalbagh an option?

  3. Lalbag and cubbon park both are good kea.. lalbag typical running track far better than many cities owing to great morning weather 🙂

  4. I think the rainfall in Chennai during late night of 26Sep and early morning of 27th Sep was the first rainfall of the NE monsoon. The high-altitude wind direction during late evening of 26th was clearly NE-SW.

  5. ♦ Southwest monsoon has withdrawn from some parts of Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan and Gujarat.

The withdrawal line passes through Amritsar, Hissar, Jaipur, Udaipur, Ahmadabad, Porbandar, Lat. 21° N /Long. 65°E and Lat. 21° N /Long. 60°E.

♦ Conditions are favourable for further withdrawal of monsoon from remaining parts of Punjab, Haryana including Delhi & Chandigarh, Rajasthan and Gujarat, entire Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand and some parts of Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh during next 2-3 days.

  8. kea.. try the outer ring road… or even kanteerva stadium… it is open to joggers in the morning along with the whole of cubbon park..

  9. @Kea outer ring road is where i had my office…. its not conducive for jogging.. since u are in koramangala, lalbag is the best 🙂

  10. A word of caution for all Bangaloreans and Chennaiites.. Rains to be good for another month at the maximum… By the end of october it would only be light rainfall.. and negligible development of any depressions or cyclones… we might have one deep depression to a cyclone towards the end of october..

  11. Rains in bangalore and west coast should die down once the system in south east arabian sea organises into depression amd moves west-northwestward.

martin, normally during october we would get only 1 cyclone or depression by average ..only in the month of november the activity increases.

  12. The ridge(high pressure) in north india shold inhibit this system movement towards western coast. It should move in a north westerly fashion.

  13. oh jon the weather for next 2 days must be dry then only rains!!!!!!!!!!! 😦 otherwise its deficient nem………….. 😯 😮 😡

  14. Foreca predicts heavy rains for entire east coast on Thursday!

Also, the wind direction is set to change slowly from NE-N-NW-W-SW around Oct 6..is this bcoz of a cyclone ??? 🙂

  15. The low in arabian sea looks to be better organised than it was some 24 hours ago with spin in clouds..part of western region of it under moderate shear but the other half of it in low shear..It should intensify into a depression in next 24 hours.

  16. KN,thats good :)…dont go with huge expectation..hype for the film is too much..go with less expectations , you will enjoy the film 🙂 🙂

  17. ya not sure.. i think he s having an exam..

As always Kodaikanal is a heaven, whatever month it be Kodai is gonna rock 🙂 4cm between 8 30 and 5 30 🙂
