  1. according to business line the low is still persisting somewhere in north central bay. Once this dissapears by today our temp will increase too. I am not sure nungumbakkam will cross 40 this summer again, maybe airport can.

  2. I don’t think that there will be yet another heat wave in Chennai this time.

Hopefully there will be some thunderstorm activity and the temperatures shouldn’t cross 37 degrees.

  3. I also disagree with the weather Kid (Karthik Raghavan). Temperature in Nungambakkam will not even touch 39 so forget about 40 this time….!

It will most probably touch 37

  4. Heavy Rain in Kerala

The IMD’s models indicate the possibility of the monsoon flow intensifying during the next 2-3 days. Very heavy rainfall was recorded during the 24 hours ending 8.30 a.m. on Sunday in Kozhikode and Perinthalmanna (18 cm each), Kozhikode airport and Mannarkkad (17 cm each), Manjeri (11 cm) and Koyilandy, Thrissur, Vellanikkara and Peerumedu (10 cm each). Rainfall was evenly spread out across the length and breadth of the State, although the heaviest downpour were mostly in north Kerala.
