GFS is prediccting only lite to mod rain for chennai, gives the impression that its more like moving towards S.andhra,But lukin at the low in GFS model its more like movin toward n.ap and orissa
Nogaps is predictin heavy rains for chennai, and it has betted on the low to form slitely to the south than GFS….so if this low traks WNW its definitely cumin toward chennai………………hope nogaps cums true
Nida has moved away from philippines… and going in the opposite direction… our L would probably turn into a depression at the max and hit South Andhra & North TN by Tuesday or wednesday
in fact chennai and tirunelveli has done great work to be among the top 5 hottest places in means of annual temperature….and few other towns from tn find their place in the top 10………..first is held by some city in sudan i think…i lost the link…but the temp was above 30
snow in chennai?…..then 2012 comes to my eyes…..if the earths core heats up…..der will be crust displacement….if south pole is in wisconsin…..chennai will move perhaps to the north pole and hence snow…hows my hypothesis?
if i want for a miracle to happen in chn i dont want snow in the first case…..rather a year full of heavy rains where the annual rainfall exceeds 1200cm ……100cm every month…
in the past 5 years the number of days above 40 has been the most in 2009-with 26days(10 days in may,16 days in june)…………..but the in the past 5 years the least maximum temp was also recorded in 2009 with 41.1c……strange?
i will tell u how i knew it……………just 3 days before wen i was seein the map for my geo exam…….the forests in indai i was shocked to see evergreen forest bein marked in Ntn also including west coast…i thought it was wrong on the publishers part
no no its evergreen.. though we say chennai is not rainy… it receives rainfall in SW monsoon also ( 40 cm- is not a low amount)…. NE monsoon ( 70 cm- this is the main reason for evergreen, in all other states after the exit of SW monsoon in september next rains only in june).. but for us its till jan beginning…

Evergreen- No idea why
Urbanised- its most urbanised on par with MH and Gujarat
