  4. Chennai AP min is 17 degrees,Bengloor is 16 degrees…..not much difference between the two cities….

    Meanwhile North Tamil nadu continues to shiver…..Dharmapuri and Tirupattur record 12 degrees….a solid 4 degrees cooler than bengloor…i havent seen such a difference in Minimum temperature btw North interior TN and Bengloor since 2003….becuase from 2003,i get the archives of daily weather from “The Hindu”….Vellore is also cooler than Bengloor at 15 degrees.

  46. @original dashman,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,although i am a konkani speaking muslim from maharashtra residing in mumbai,,,during my stay in saudi arabia,,,i came to interact wid two types of tamil nadu muslims,,,some 75% of T.N muslims are tamil speaking,.,,while those from north T.N are urdu speaking,,,,so i guess kea may be amongst them ,,but still blonging to T.N is enough to have gud command over tamil,,,,the tymm has come for kea to open up this mystery!!!!:):)@pradeep have u posted the all india rainfall figures???? have u got the 12 months figures for hulikal???pls repost it

  50. Back after a visit to cool Delhi and foggy Agra – fantabulous weather – esp. in the evening at Agra.

    Nothing better than a late night drive on the wide roads of Delhi on a rainy winter night.

    As I left Delhi, people complained of a warm afternoon when it touched 22 which was also the “cold winter” night temperature people were complaining of when I landed back in Chennai at 8 PM. What contrasts this country has!

      • haha – thats exactly what I am saying.

        When i reached Delhi, the min was around 5-6 degrees. Agra was colder. When I left Delhi had become “warm” which was also Chennai’s “cold”.

        And to be fair, Chennai yesterday around 11PM was also pleasantly cool to drive around on the bike :)

    Bengaluru city has recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 12.0 deg. Celsius on today the 16th January 2012 for the month of January during past 19 years.

    Madikeri has recorded all time record of lowest minimum temperature of 4.8 deg. Celsius on today the 16th January 2012 during past 132 years.

    Mysore has recorded all time record of lowest minimum temperature of 7.7 deg. Celsius on today the 16th January 2012 during past 120 years.
